	4000 Copies Of Kru Translated Holy Bible Launched

The Bible Society in Liberia has launched 4000 copies of the Kru translation of the Holy Bible in Monrovia.

The Kru translation of the Holy Bible was launched by Rev. Alphonso Dean, Bishop of the Christian Mission Assembly with US$1,000.00 on behalf of President Ellen Johnson Sirleaf at the D. Twe High School in the Borough of New Kru Town on Sunday.

Delivering the keynote address at the program, former Information Minister, Rev. Dr. Lawrence K. Bropleh, dispelled the notion that there is 80% illiteracy rate in the country.

	Grandcess Citizens Laud SSF for Road Rehabilitation

The Citizens of Grandcess and Grand Kru County have commended SSF Entrepreneur Incorporated for the reconstruction of roads and bridges in that part of the country.

Making the commendation, Mr. Jerome Tugbeh on behalf of the citizens expressed gratitude to SSF for providing jobs to Grand Kru citizens through road rehabilitation process.

Kromah said following years of civil war in Liberia the citizens of Grandcess like any part of Liberia was lack behind as a result of the high rate of unemployment.

	Bad Road May Cut off 30,000 in Grand Kru

At least 30,000 residents of Karnweaken and Sasstown, in Grand Kru County may be cut off during the next raining season which begins in April this year if nothing is done to address the deplorable road condition in the area, Representative Gbenimah B. Slopadoe said.

Slopadoe, who represents Grand Kru County District #1 in the Lower House of the National Legislature, on account of the situation, has made a passionate appeal to the Ministry of Public Works (MPW) to rehabilitate the deplorable road.

	Grand Kru Gets 4th High School

The Cape Palmas Diocese of the Catholic Church of Liberia has elevated the St. Peter's Clever Elementary and Junior High School in Barclayville, Grand Kru County to the secondary level after more than 30 years of existence.

The elevation of the school now brings to four, the number of high schools in Grand Kru County. Speaking to the Liberia News Agency (LINA) Grand Kru County correspondent recently in Barclayville, the acting Principal of the school, Michael Tarwreh, said the county now has three high schools, including P.G. Wollor High School in Grandcess, Sasstown High School in Sasstown, and the Barclayvifle Central High School in Barclayville.
